This Privacy Policy applies to the Wio Link mobile applications. As an IoT hardware enabler, Seeed knows well the importance of protecting users' privacy. To implement the functionalities of the Wio Link mobile application, we may collect the status of your phone and the account information of your phone. This Privacy Policy explains what and how we collect, how we use and disclose your information. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not continue to use the Wio Link mobile application.
We collect information in the following ways:
A. Information you give us When you sign up a Wio Link account, you will be asked to input an email address to identify your account. When you chose to login with Google account or Facebook account, you give us the access authority of the OAuth credential of your Google or Facebook account, including email, user name, avatar URL, excluding password.
B. Information we get from your use of our services
We DO NOT collect and store any sensor data which shows inside the Wio Link application.
We use data to continually improve our services, including adding new features or capabilities.
We use your email address to identify your Wio Link account.
We use your Google account to do OAuth login. We use your Facebook account to do OAuth login.
We use your device information to identify your installation copy. We do basic analysis of the installation amount.
We use error reportings to help debug the application.
We use the state of the network to implement the logic of configure a Wio Link device (board).
We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of Seeed unless one of the following circumstances applies:.
Our business may require us to transfer your Personal Data to countries outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), including to countries such as the People’s Republic of China or Singapore. We take appropriate steps to ensure that recipients of your Personal Data are bound to duties of confidentiality and we implement measures such as standard contractual clauses. The Wio Link Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will update the presentation of this Privacy Policy at the same time once we have a new version at both the web page and the mobile applications. But for the time delay introduced by the examine and verify process of Google Play or App Store, the presentations at the web page and the mobile applications may be different. In such case, please consider the web page version as the latest and valid version.
